About
FeelJones is a Christian artist from Chicago’s West Side who blends singer-songwriter storytelling with indie pop, alt-R&B, and global rhythms. He writes, produces, records, mixes, and engineers all his music, creating soulfully honest songs rooted in faith. Starting his journey at 14 with the Grammy-winning Soul Children of Chicago, he was discovered by local DJ George the Jamma, who introduced him to Upmost of rap duo Dude N’ Nem. That connection led to Shorty Capone, the executive credited with discovering Lupe Fiasco. FeelJones has featured on tracks like Dude N’ Nem’s “Watch My Feet” remix and worked with Grammy-winning producer Xcel (Kanye West’s “Follow God”). As a keyboardist, he’s performed alongside Jesse Boykins III and Syleena Johnson, and has traveled the country performing his own music. In 2019, he co-wrote and produced an EP for Vbz4$el with Grammy-winning songwriter Carla Carter. That year, he released his debut solo single, “Don’t Fall Off,” followed by the 2020 EP Repeat, featuring the Afrobeat-inspired “Go For It.” Since then, FeelJones has shared multiple singles and videos online and is preparing his next release, “Training Wheels.” Rooted in faith and shaped by church and city, his music invites listeners into spaces where hope meets perseverance and creativity becomes testimony.
